Let me introduce myself…

My name is James Parker, and I am a Charlotte Portrait Photographer.

For me, photography is more than a passion. It’s a privilege – a special right!

When my mom passed away with Alzheimer’s, the importance of documenting and preserving memories was unveiled like never before. I realized when it’s gone, it’s gone for good! Some come to this realization before the loss of a loved one, but for me… this is what it took.

When I discovered photography, God showed me hope, freedom, joy, laughter, quietness, peace, life, and purpose.

Although I may be found posing couples in love, catching candid shots of individuals, or gathering families together for that big shoot, there’s more to it than that. In the middle of it all, my heart compels me to capture the moments that will stand the test of time.

 legacy behind for their loved ones.
